Sets the pace - our clockwork.

Our Meca quartz movements

A quartz movement sets the pace in every V5 chronograph. It was not for nothing that battery-powered clockworks ushered in a new era in the 1970s. With their unsurpassed accuracy and longevity, they are the perfect companions for everyday use. Low maintenance, a battery life of up to 5 years and that combined with a rate deviation of a maximum of 20 seconds per month.

Precision down to a fraction of a second

The Mioyta 6S20 in our watches has a chronograph in addition to the date and time. This is semi-mechanical (meca quartz) and measures the time, not in 1-second increments like a normal watch, but 4x per second. The second hand of the chronograph ticks from the middle several times per second, similar to an automatic watch. At the same time, the totalizer at 3 o'clock shows the timed tenths. To quickly reset the timer, the lower pusher can be pressed again while the timer is still running. Miyota calls this feature HCRS (Heart Cam Reset System).

The chronograph is definitely the enduring highlight of the V5 collection. The sporty character is not only underlined with the 6S20, but directly takes it to a whole new level. It makes improvements in endurance sports recognizable, measures the breaks between sets in strength training or the time when the pasta is ready.

Miyota is a subsidiary of Citizen Watch Co. Ltd., which was founded in 1959 and has been producing high-quality movements for numerous brands ever since.

You can catch a glimpse of the chronograph in action in our first clip on YouTube.
